Eight and it's Great!

My busy little boy turned eight months last Thursday.

Busy is definitely the best word to describe him.  He is crawling everywhere, standing up, and starting to walk while he's holding on to the sofa or coffee table.  He wants to play with Callie's toys, electrical cords, the dishes, my Nook, my cell phone, my laptop...pretty much anything and everything but his toys.

His latest thing is screaming...for no reason...when he's mad, when he's excited, when he's happy, when you aren't feeding him fast enough...I have no idea where he might have got that from...

So far, he eats pretty much whatever you feed him.  He likes his baby food, be we've also tried some big people food also that his soft enough for him to "chew".

He probably weighs about 23 lbs. or so.  It's already time to get him a new car seat.  He wants to sit up like a big boy anyway and see everything.

He takes 3 1-2 hour naps throughout the day.  I think he wears himself out more since he plays so much and crawls around everywhere.

Life with him is incredible.  We can definitely tell he's growing into his own little personality and learning what makes him happy, sad, mad, etc.

Now, for the photos...

{Hey Mom!}

{Those eyes...}

{Can you tell he's fussing?  I had to get a pick of his onesie..."Duck, Duck, Moose"}

{And the back of his onesie...too cute!}

{He's already figuring out to smile when I point the camera at him!}

{Excuse the filthy window, but this is what he always does when I put the dogs outside.}

He is just so cute and happy.  He still has only 2 teeth, but I expect another one anytime.  He's been a little fussy and chewing on everything.

I hope this finds you well and enjoying your day...and if not, maybe my sweet boy can make it a little brighter!

Be blessed,
Emily
